Corset Belts Baby!

So, since I finally had some daylight to work with, I took pictures of the belts I have, and finally put up the complete (for now) website for the Corset Belts.

So here it is!

And the grapevine whispered to me that the troupe that won BDUY pageant yesterday was wearing my corset belt designs...which is interesting, because I have no less than 2 troupes wanting them, and this troupe wasn't either...and I know the troupe leader....so I'll have to see for myself what's going on.

hey! i have a crazy question... if i bought fabric and sent it to you, would you make a belt out of it? the local fabric store here has awesome dupioni and chinese silks that would lot sooooo amazing as a corset belt... You never cease to amaze!!!

I think I wrote that up last night when I added the ordering page (of course, my head feels like an iron egg, so maybe not)...it depends on the fabric...some of the Chinese "silks" are very meltable, and I need to iron the pieces several times...and Anaar's fabric actually melted on me a few times! Not impossible to work with, but it's better to start off with a yard, just in case :)

I'll definitely keep that in mind when looking at fabrics... i think the "silks" at our fabric store are actually real silk, but i have seen that wannabe chinese silk brocade... i can imagine that just melting away under an iron. eeeeeeew! Or maybe i'll just stay at the dupioni table! heh!
