Hmm, could one really make that into a whole song? Heh!

This morning I did some updating to the Modern Tradition of Witchcraft website...for kicks, I did a quick search on the site, and found about 8-10 pages of links from other sites, which was pretty cool. Found one particular one that had posted a review, that was praising of the design, but she didn't like my content (I think [livejournal.com profile] annwynri called her review "acrid"), but most of what she wrote showed she didn't read it very closely, and her main beef had to do more with the fact that we simply have a different system of beliefs (not hers) when it comes to Traditional Craft. For curiosity's sake, I looked through the rest of the site, where she reviewed the content of a notoriously full-of-crap tradition and thought it was "A" content (they're a mixture of Lovecraft meets RennFaire, which is fine and dandy if it works for them, but that's what it is.) Then I looked at her site and nearly wet my pants..with a starry background, purply-lilac lettering in frames, with a bitch-about-everything attitude in barely readable text. How can someone review other people's sites, while they're own looks like something from 1994 (quote [livejournal.com profile] dragondropp)?

Weird Wryd World.

But anyway, I updated the site here and there, especially the book section, since I hadn't touched it since 2001. Still need to add more. But I'm glad to know there's a lot of people out there who appreciate the site and it's content :)

Yesterday, I made more art :) Not all finished, but I'll show it soon :) And then I got to make it to Azar's class, which was good. Definite improvement on the tucking and hiprolling she said, which is great, because I've been mainly practicing in the shower. (heh, Azar told me that she also dances in the shower, this pleases me to no end! Anyone else dance in the shower?) While I was helping her take care of some troupe costuming stuff, she said to me she really wished I had more time, because she would really like me in the troupe! This is the first time she's ever said anything like this, probably because shortly after moving out here and taking some lessons, I pretty much said flat-out I wasn't interested in troupes. I'm really flattered, but truthfully, I'm just not a troupe-minded person. I don't like learning choreography, and I don't like dressing like 5-10 other people to perform. I like to work with a few other people on occasion to create a theatrical collaboration or collective (like Zingari), but the whole troupe thing has never excited me. There's a part of me that certainly does want to be a part of the whole thing (especially since it's Azar, and the other troupe gals are just really great people), but I like being just Tempest. Is there something wrong with that?

*sheepishly admits*
