So, I think it's Sunday.

So yesterday I went to the "mexi-mart" with Cat and her daughter, b/c they've never been and wanted to go. It was actually a really nice day to go, because it was sunny, but cool...every other time Keith and I go, it's downright hot :P And for a Saturday, it wasn't too packed, at least not at the end where we needed to go, the fabrics! I picked up some fabric for various costumes, and some bra bases too, including a black velvet one! It's not very hard, so I have to combine with another cup to make it work, but hey, that means I don't have to cover the damn thing! (covering bras and belts is the bane of my existence). Found some funky fake hair stuff too. Cat had a field day, and then realized the true horror of the meximart, in it's vertigo-causing madness...that after 2-3 aisles, it really does look all the same lol. According to Keith, it's not a REAL flea market, and he's right. There's very little "old" or used stuff, unless you count the stolen car radios. But, it's great for cheap quality fabrics :) For old stuff, you have to head up to the Oakland one that's just by Oak st. (not the other one, by the coliseum). If anyone knows of other cool "real" flea markets in the Bay Area, drop me a note :)

Today...today is Dhyanis's grand opening gala thing up in San Anselmo. She's invited me to come and perform, so I will try and haul my gothy arse together and get psyched up about it. Going to do the Temple Gathering set since I couldn't put any energy into thinking about it over the last few days and Keith suggested it. I listened to it last night, and had totally forgotten about the first half of the mix. Goes to show I was really out of my skull back in October trying to make that event happen! Think I'll wear my Salome dress...
