So let's see....Saturday night went great...pix here: http://www.meddevi.com/dance/4503.html

Some interesting things happened, but I won't make mention of them until something actually develops from them ;) It looks like we may have Nicole performing solo soon, which is great---another gothy dancer :) the plot thickens!

Sunday came too soon, with my cell phone beeping at me to OK the time change (what time change???) Basically, the bastard has been beeping wolf for like 3 weeks now, telling me it wants to update the time...and nothing would happen. But I was not so lucky on Sunday :P

Went riding with Mary, and finally got to meet her horses (only been here over a year LOL), and my arse is still recovering, and probably will be for the next several days...Khris and I are resigned to ride regularly (her for weight loss, me for muscle toning), so I'll have to put up with the tender tuckus for a bit longer.

We saw DareDevil tonight....good flick I think. Keith says he was Marvel Comics answer to Batman....I said I like him much better than Batman. Keith asked why....well, if you think about it, Batman is just some rich dude with a lot of toys....DareDevil is not only a somewhat average guy, but blind to boot, AND a decent lawyer...like how can you beat that?

I keep missing those nights. For some reason it's a big ordeal for us to drive an hour down to San Jose at night.

awww...

well, back in Rhode Island, where you could drive across the whole freaking pissant state in about 40-50 minutes, people used to whine about having to drive 20 minutes north to go to an event. When I lived in South Carolina, it took us 20 minutes just to get to the grocery store or gas station :P It's funny about how the size of the state you live in affects your perspective on time and distance LOL.

But yeah, I know what ya mean. Keith and I have an added initiative, because most gigs I do up in the city/east bay/beyond we usually vend at too (like Cafe Bellie, Tribal Fest, Fantasy Festival, etc). It's hard to get excited to drive an hour to a place you know you're spending $20 minimum per person, and you're not getting out till at least 10:30pm, and then there's the Moroccan Magic's....;)

The one drive I would highly recommend is Tribal Fest III...it's going to seriously kick ass this year!!!

Stunning beauty!
