other tidbits
Some other fun stuff I forgot to write about:
-I got my hair cut yesterday. Well, it needed a trim...and Keith made me look at the design books. I like the somewhat layered "long bangs" up front, so I had the girl trim it a bit more up front, but I can still pull it back totally for work. Yeah, so I'm actually a functionally minded person.
-I went shopping in the men's department at JCP. Keith's mum bought him a pair of pants from there for Xmas that were overpriced and undersized, so we finally made it over there to return them. For the regular price of one pair of pants, we managed to get over $300 worth of clothing on sale...and while looking for clothes for Keith, I saw these shirts in the young men's department...perfect for work :) Let's face it...no women's apparel department has REAL work clothes for women. If I want a durable shirt for physical work, I have to go to the guys' dept. No biggie, been wearing my brothers' and then Keith's stuff for years. Yeap, always will be a tomboy ;)
-I also got a new bedlah set on Saturday from Dhyanis. It's based on the art of Gustav Klimt. It is colorful, and makes me think of
tupelo's book where there's the big sale at Sherezade's house, and the dialogue over the "colorful" set....not a direct quote, but the gist: "my gawd, that's so tacky!" "oh definitely, just gaudy!""so you buying it?" "yeap." "damn." -pix soon.
