At 440 Studios
(440 Lafayette St. between Astor Place and 4th St. and across the street from The Public Theater).

This is a unique opportunity for performers or those curious about Gothic Bellydance to learn from one of the founders of the Gothic Bellydance movement, California's Laura Tempest Schmidt. All levels are welcome, dancers, Goths, and those that are just curious about this newer dance style....

PLUS! We've combined the workshop with a Gothla...Urban Oasis, highly successful this past June in NYC is now an open dance showcase! Experimentalists and Gothic Dancers have their chance to shine while dancing at this open event
