So, I realized most folks don't know the biggest news cause it hasn't been specifically address---sorta like that elephant in the middle of the room---we're moving this weekend!
AND today, we totally scored a fabulous bedroom set and a sleeper-bed couch....apparently the Salv Army does 50% off from 6-9pm on the last Friday of the month, and Keith happened to stop by one earlier today and spied the bedroom set and found out about the sale. We got back to it in time to scoop up the set (sorta Asianesque 4 piece set---tall and short dressers, two nightstands, in GREAT condition), and then hit the other SA down the road, and got this awesome couch that looks like it's never been used, matches our giant rug great, and has a never opened-sleeper bed inside. Yes folks, we officially have furniture! No more hanging out on our bed anymore! And the couch is comfy!
We never really felt like we could "set up" here, because we knew we would be moving as soon as we possibly could, though it took a while...it never felt like "home"---so we're both totally psyched about this apartment :) Wallspace! 3 closets! a BATHTUB! and yes, a real stove and a real fridge!
And we got Mischief a big round litterbox...it's lilac...I think it's called a Bodabox? Total fatass heaven.
So, we'll probably be offline for a few days....see you on the sunny side ;)
