randomness
Oct. 9th, 2004 11:17 pmLast night the oddest thought popped into my head. I'm already older than my mom was when she had both of my brothers. However, I'm 5-6 years off from having me.
And that just makes me love the cat more. And be in awe of my mom.

But one of my daughters (of the spiritual famtrad nature) got married again today, for the second time. Or at least, I hope she did, if it made her happy, haven't heard from her in a bit and October snuck up like a cat. So congrats to Reginleif....I can never pass a small red volkswagon or a brew house without thinking of you.
Which, when I go back to RI in my head, and the last few weeks there, makes me think of Randy. I wonder how/where Randy is. Everyone took us leaving in different ways...and I think he was really affected by it deeply, and couldn't deal as well as he thought he could. Randy would so kick ass out here in on the West Coast...I think he would truly be happy. Miss you Randy :(

Finally made it to the eye place to get my serious red-eye contact lens effect looked at. I haven't worn contacts since Sept 11th/Modesto, where my eyes were more fuscia than my costume at the end of the day and work schedule has been hell so it's been hard to go in. The doctor gave me a different type of lens to try....no noticeable redness wearing them all day yesterday. Put them in again for work today, and by 3-4pm, I was in serious red-eye territory. Bought new sensitive lens wash and drops so maybe that will help...my eyes feel like rubber...and I see so much better with contacts. I don't run into shit :P
---
My boss said I should be Frida Kahlo for Halloween. The more I thought about it, the more I liked it. Then later this evening I thought...hey, Keith could be Diego! Just need to find him a short curly black wig, some suspenders...a communist manifesto, and pants with paint on them...Just need to figure WTF we're doing for Halloween.
ideas?
