The tea's too sweet...both this morning and now this evening...English Breakfast, and now the Moroccan Mint....I normally add a skimpy teaspoon of sugar...but even that feels like too much all of a sudden...must be hooked now on the green tea, which I don't put any suger in. Figures.
Had an allergy attack late last night while working on a client's site and the temple gathering stuff...took 2 chloretimetron's instead of 1, and I woke up around 10:30 this morning very begrudgingly. Then again, I haven't slept in past 8:30 am in weeks. At Cairo, we were getting up at 7, 7:30 am :P Even the few days beforehand.....3 more days of work for this week, then I can adjust a bit Thurs, Fri, and Saturday. Will need to, because we never get home at a decent hour from doing the Goddess Show. :P
We went out to dinner with Mary and Khris tonight as a post b-day dinner for both of us...wanted to do Mexican, so we did Fiesta Del Mar...which is good, but they really need to do something about the sound in there...it's very poorly designed inside for proper sound. Sangria was yummy, and I'm still feeling it. Afterwards, Mary gave me this cool glass tea pot and cup, and Khris made me some wicked cool hair falls: a matching small pair of yarn and synth, and a huge large fall, and nice stinky lotion stuff too :) Maybe I should wear a fall to work tomorrow :)
I talked to my grandparents and then my parents today too. My grandfather came home from the hospital on Thursday I believe...they drained *2 liters* of fluid from his lungs----no wonder why he wasn't getting better! They will know by Tuesday what kind of fluid, but they ruled out congestive heart failure. He sounded pretty good on the phone (grandmom sounded a little more worn, probably from dealing with him). He always perks up when I call...and apparently my mom had called 3 times before, and my grandmother didn't hand the phone over...I call once and win ;) Hehe....anyway, I checked with the parents about times to go back there....mid July, from the 12th-19th looks pretty good, because I only miss 3 days of work somehow, and they don't need to be covered. Airfair is about $250 roundtrip, which seems pretty good. I could take a red-eye Monday night, and get to Philly early Tuesday morning.
So, we'll see.
