oye...sometimes, I really drive myself bonkers

So I'm trying to figure out the mess that is Kajira's site...the last guy really made a horrible mess of the files. There's actually like 4 directories called nav-images, nav_images, images-nav, and navimages. WTF!? And of course, with similarly titled images inside, that don't seem to be hitting anywhere, because when I load the html in DW4, no images show up. There's about 4-6 variations of index pages, all for the mainpage...various ways of titling photo and gallery items.....I don't think I've ever seen something so fucked up. And there's things scattered around the site like faery poop.

My solution: scrap the whole damn thing and start from scratch so I can make a system that works and is much easier to view and navigate. Because I just don't have enough damn things to do. ;) But I seriously think it will take me less time to redesign the whole site than bashing my head over this guy's fubar job. I proposed the idea to Kajira, and I hope she goes for it, even though that means double overload, cause I also have to move the meddevi site as well before the month is up. It's one of those, if we do it now, my life will be so much easier in the future. Because the current site is seriously causing mechanical failure in my brain, it's just that bad.

I kill me, I really do.

Now I get to anxiously await the arrival the postal person who comes bringing divine hair--evil hair really, hair with the potential for world domination sort of hair. Err, pretend you didn't read that. Nothing to see here, move along...

I got a devadasi tank top in the mail the other day...it's pretty sweet, and the small makes me look like I may actually have some boobage.

Azar is going away for a whole month...cause she's doing ta ke ti na training. ta ke ti na unnerves me. it's definitely not up my alley, and you can tell me all the virtues of it, and there's no way I'm drinking any of that kool-aid thank you very much.

So that leaves the question of what am I going to do for class for like 4 weeks? Shanna's taking over some of the classes....I really like Shanna, and I'm really not a fan of Modern Egyptian. So I can be a frustrated, but supportive person. Or I can be a happy selfish person. I will choose the latter. So do I just focus on self-based training, or do I seek out a workshop or some other teacher to drop in on? I'd hate to get fucked up just before Rakkasah. Rachel's MIA cause she's on tour...Dalia Carella won't be teaching at Rakkasah (wonder if she'll be there anyway...) Yeah, I'm a real pill.
