So, like, hi everybody...

heh.

Friday went very well. ALL of the dancers showed up (this is nothing short of a miracle...of course, some arrived late, but still, they all arrived)...I didn't catch much of the second half, because I was primping myself in the dressing room.....and things were going very well into the beginning of my performance, with a bit of inspiration from Erte...and the music was just checking into the high-kick-ass part...when the CD decided to have a coniption. A brand new, tested CD. And the only way to get it going, from Keith's side, was to fastforward past the skip, which in turn cut off about 2 minutes of a 6.5 minute performance :P. So, I felt like I didn't get my dance-gasm. And I've coined a new term for not reaching proper climax in dance performances: blue beads. If you see it, hear it, I came up with it ;) And it ain't pretty.

Well, maybe we can get some good stills from the bit of footage :P

Work went well on Saturday....visited Paloma's fire sale on Sunday (slightly smokey shiny things!)...and today, I talked to Jeremiah about some stuff. And he asked me if I would re-do his website for him. "gee, err, well, I don't know.......well, ok" Heh..pulling teeth right? Immediately followed by, well, I had already come up with some ideas....*grin*

So, shortly, Solace will have a new website :)

I just have to fix 13 pages on my own site to remove the layers and convert images to backgrounds into tables into...:P

now that wasn't so bad, actually..

So I just went through over a dozen pages, and removed all of the text layers, meanwhile converting and slicing the images I used in fireworks, placing them in, then backgrounding some of them, and putting text in the tables, rather than on the tables with layers. And I actually think it was much easier to do than the damn text layering in the first place!

So, all of you who had major issues with the text layers running amuck, it should work just fine now! yay!
