and what day is it?
Apr. 2nd, 2003 01:32 pmMmm...Wednesday...yeah, that's it...Wednesday. Class tonight is "Making Decisions: Ethic & Morals in Magick" --it's a nice teaser, because I stuck it before the actual "how to" class ;)
This weekend went very well. The Abhasa concert pretty much sold out, we raised a nice sum of money for Sandi, and then the sale went very well on Sunday for We3 (Thanks to everyone who stopped by!). Can't wait for all the new stuff to come in :)
And...and...and....visualization manifestation really DOES WORK (I already knew this, but here's another great example..) At Rakkasah, I was pining for Assuit. Assuit is a type of material from Egypt that's like fine fishnet interwoven with real metal. (check out http://www.liquidsilver.com)...I wanted a simple panel skirt of it, but there's no way I can afford to buy an assuit skirt (let alone a scrap of it LOL)....on Sunday morning, while I was helping the girls get stuff ready for the sale, Isabel pulls out a bunch of odds and ends from a box, and there's this Assuit panel skirt...and despite my protests (I think the jaw on the ground was a pretty blatant sign of droolage), she *gave* it to me. *swoooooon* happy, happy, happy, HAPPY! Oh yeah, I'm happy....Assuit baby! Perfect for my spikies... (http://www.meddevi.com/peekaboo/spikies.jpg)
Yesterday was a day-off for Keith and me....Khris is in Mexico, so we went up to Pacifica to take care of her furballs of trouble (how come we don't have a black cat? Oh that's right, Mischief's a bitch...), and then headed up to SF for an afternoon on Haight before Keith's bass lesson with Mark. Shopping was faaaaaaaaab! We find a pair of high-heeled gothic boots for me, for $18.50 at the Buffalo Exchange (no size on them, but they FIT!), some awesome fabric trims to make into headdresses for Tribal Fest III, cut-off gloves that match the Assuit skirt (sexy!), and wonderful velvet pants on sale at the Love of Ganesha! (this place is wonderful! if you're in SF, you need to go, it's that simple, it's at the corner of Page and Ashbury, one block down from Haight street...gorgeous, affordable clothing and jewelry, and the people are the nicest!)
And Azar is back! yay!!! Back to regular lessons and getting my brain on the right track...and I think I'm getting the hang of Khaleegy dancing...(just have to take the uptight wench out of me, and wallah!)
So, a good day :)
